Amazon is taking its live plant shipment services to a brand-new level.

The online merchant revealed that beginning this November, Amazon Prime members will have the ability to deliver a plant much larger than those small succulents you’ve been considering. The trees, consisting of Douglas firs and Norfolk Island pines, will be delivered within 10 days of being sliced and provided in a regular looking Amazon box, sans water.

It’s not inexpensive. Searching for a Fraser fir? That’ll cost you about $115 for a 7-footer. Some trees will receive Prime complimentary shipping, however for others you might need to spend more money for the benefit of never ever leaving your house.

Responses to the news were quite blended on Twitter, with folks chastising the business for infringing on excellent ol’ vacation customs. Others, however, aspired to rely on Amazon for a lot more of their vacation shopping requirements.

Who understands? Perhaps next spring, Amazon will discover a method to conceal your Easter eggs, too.
